With the expansion of Generation Care into the Grand Haven area, we have opened up many new doors for our company to continue to grow. One of the major reasons we looked at expanding into Grand Haven was the existence of North Ottawa Community Health Systems (NOCHS). Our goal has always been to fill the holes in community service and work synergistically, not competitively with existing services.

After many months of meetings both internally and externally, we were proud to join NOCHS as a partner in providing additional care to the Grand Haven community. Although our relationship is still new, our philosophies of care are a solid match!

At the hospital, we are the sole provider of all in-patient and out-patient rehabilitation as well as In Home Care services. This is a great benefit to all the patients of this community, as they progress in their continuum of care. In many cases patients will see familiar faces throughout their phases of healing and therapy services. We offer out-patient services located conveniently in the hospital Harbor Dunes building, as well as a satellite clinic in Spring Lake to offer choices for our patients.

NOCHS also owns and operates Heartwood Lodge, a resident-centered facility in Spring Lake. Through our partnership, we are providing all the rehabilitation services for the residents and we coordinate with our in-patient and out-patient therapists to ensure collaboration of care.
